5 Tips for Coming Out

One of the things I’m asked most about is if I have any advice on how to come out. I’m sharing five tips that helped me accept — and be proud of! — my sexuality. These are by no mean one-size-fits-all solutions and I recognize that as a cis-white male, I’ve been afforded privileges that are not necessarily available to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. 10 Queer and Trans People of Color Organizations to Support this Pride

In this month of Pride, it is vital to support not only queer organizations, but organizations that specifically benefit Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPoC). QTPoC have been leading the fight for equality in the LGBTQ+ community since the beginning and yet have been the most marginalized. I’ve compiled a list of organizations that directly serve these communities, both for folks who might need them and for anyone who may want to support them.
